The 9th Annual Dragon Ridge Open Players Meeting

Welcome to the 9th Dragon Ridge Open! I’d like to start by thanking all of you for filling this tournament once again. The Dragon Ridge course and tournament have proved to be a big favorite on the tour!

I also want to thank River Flagg and any one else who did a bunch of work on hole 5. There is now a fairway to the right that has been opened up. I definitely eager to play the “Suckers Route” for a chance at birdieing it!

I always like to mention Gary Braman. Gary pushed to get this course in years ago, and did an amazing job on the design. Although he had moved to Jeff City, I believe be still deserves a mention. Thanks for one of my favorite courses!!

Everyone needs to check in near the trailer under the canopies. Don’t forget there is $335 in the Roll Over Tour Ace Pot. It is cash only ($5). Every player will receive 1 premium plastic custom disc. Ams will receive another item of their choice on a first come first served basis. Round 1 tees off at 9:00. Scores for the tournament need to be kept on the PDGA website. Player course and hole assignments will be posted after registration closes Friday night at https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/99388. The link to online scoring is https://pdga.com/score/. The access code is DRO. Everyone is required to keep score. DGM staff will receive them at tournament central. When round one is finished, lunch will be on your own. Round 2 should start at 1. Player course and round assignments will once again be posted to the PDGA event page, and scores should be kept on pdga.com. 

Rules for the course are listed below. MVP-only CTP is hole 11. Unbranded CTP is hole 15. Trilogy-only CTP is hole 16. Prodigy-only CTP is hole 17. If there is any question about any throws or lies, try to make a group decision. If no decision can be made, play a provisional. When possible, consult with the course TD to determine the correct answer.
