Welcome to The 1st Tar Creek Open, hosted by the LEAD Agency (Local Environmental Action Demanded) and Disc Golf Monkey. The LEAD Agency is a non-profit environmental group, and our director believes that Disc Golf is a great way to get people outdoors.

At this time we want to acknowledge those who made The 1st Tar Creek Open possible: Basketcase Disc Golf, City of Miami, Eastern Shawnee Tribe Wellness Center, George and Frances Webb, LEAD Agency, Miami Ace-66 Hardware, Miami Laundromat Co., Neece Concrete Construction, Quapaw Farmer’s Market, Stoner Farms, and all the volunteers that have been working on this tournament.

Between rounds we will provide a meal of Indian Tacos, cookies and a drink at no cost. Post tournament activities include a $300 Ace Throw Off Contest and 3 Ring of Fire rounds.
The Ace Throw Off will be from 1’s tee box to 9’s basket. If 1 person gets an Ace they will receive the full $300, 2 Aces will split $300, 3 Aces will split $300, more than 3 Aces will be a throw off. The throw off will be a CTP even if an Ace is hit (Only 3 participants will walk away with cash.). If no Aces are hit, the 3 closest to the pin will split $300. In the case of a tie there will be a throw off (Again only 3 people will walk away with cash.).
The Ring of Fire rounds will be in the south cul-de-sac. Winner of the first round will receive a Catrina Allen autographed disc, winner of the second round will receive an Anthony Barela Autographed disc, and winner of the third round will receive a Paul McBeth autographed disc. Winners of each round will not be eligible to win another disc.

Round 1 tees off at 9:00. Scores for the tournament need to be kept on the PDGA website. Player course and hole assignments will be posted by the time registration closes Friday night at https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/88146 The link to online scoring is https://pdga.com/score/. The access code is TCO. All players are required to keep score. DGM staff will receive them at tournament central. When round one is finished, lunch will be provided (Indian Tacos). Round 2 should start at 1:00 but will be based on last card from the first round. Player course and round assignments will once again be posted to the PDGA event page, and scores should be kept on pdga.com.

All disc golfers please remember that this park is alcohol-free and smoke-free. No smoking of any type is permitted during this tournament.

Rules for the courses are listed below. Unbranded CTP (sponsored by Innova) is hole 3. Trilogy-only CTP is hole 8. Prodigy-Only CTP is hole 14. MVP/Axiom CTP is hole 6. If there is any question about any throws or lies, try to make a group decision. If no decision can be made, play a provisional. When possible, consult with the course TD to determine the correct answer.
